Weird Hotels: Berlin’s Mirror Room

You’ve probably been on a holiday where you are dying to go out to explorer to head down to the beach, but you are waiting for your friend or loved one to tear themselves away from the mirror. Imagine the difficulties if you were staying in this rather odd hotel in Berlin, Germany.

The Propeller Island City Lodge hotel has a room called the Mirror Room, and with good reason. The diamond shaped room is kitted out entirely with mirrors so that you have the impression of living in a kaleidoscope.

The hotel owners state ‘Caution: Very Sexy!’, but we say ‘Caution: Express ticket to mental illness’.

The hotel has many other freaky rooms, including one with a circular bed, another with a revolving bed and one with a bed sunk into the floor.  The one below looks like a game of Mah Jong that has gone very badly wrong.
